The long awaited judgement in the case of BSkyB v. EDS serves as an important reminder to those involved in any kind of sales or outsourcing (whether in the IT sector or otherwise), to provide accurate information to potential customers prior to and during any negotiation or tendering process leading ultimately to contractual obligations.
