The Rochester surface mine and associated heap-leach facility is a silver and gold operation located in the Humboldt Range of northwestern Nevada in the US, around 20km north of Lovelock, in Pershing County. The mine is 100%-owned by Coeur Mining through its wholly owned subsidiary, Coeur Rochester. The Rochester consolidated property package comprises 4,050ha of unpatented lode claims, patented claims and various other property rights. The mine is fully supported with electricity supplied by a local power company on its public grid, telephone and radio communications, production water wells, and processing, maintenance, warehouse and office facilities.
