Rietfontein assays

The assay results for two diamond drill-holes recently completed by African Minerals Ltd (AML) at the Rietfontein joint-venture platinum group metals (PGM) property (MJ, July 26, p.61) have been received by Anooraq Resources Corp. AML is earning a 50 percent interest in the property. In assays generated by previous drilling at Rietfontein, platinum forms 41 percent of the PGM+Au, palladium forms 51 percent, rhodium forms 2 percent and gold forms 6 percent.
