Oxiana Resources Ltd is widening the focus of its drilling programmes at the 80 percent-owned Sepon copper-gold project in Laos. The company's remit until now has been to concentrate on the known deposits, raising confidence to feasibility level. Now that plant commissioning for the gold project is on schedule for the end of this year, drilling is being directed towards prospects outside the already delineated deposits. One such target is the Luang prospect, a 1 km x 100-200 m gold geochemical soil anomaly, located about 500 m from the Discovery gold deposit along the same major structure.
