Guyanor completes move into royalties

FRENCH-INCORPORATED Guyanor Ressources SA is targeting the acquisition of additional gold royalties after completing the purchase of a royalty interest in the Rosebel gold mine in Suriname from parent company Golden Star Resources Ltd. The latter owns a 58 percent equity interest in Guyanor. Previously a gold exploration company focused on French Guiana, Guyanor underwent financial restructuring in the second half of last year. This resulted in Golden Star forgiving 17.5 million US dollars in debt owed by Guyanor. In return, Guyanor vended into Golden Star exploration assets in French Guiana.
