Syama redevelopment reaches next stage

RESOLUTE Mining Ltd intends to redevelop its 80 percent-owned Syama gold mine in Mali.The company will spend the next six months working towards a full commitment to the project. Immediate actions will include the selection of a principal engineer for design and construction, and starting the statutory approvals processes. Resolute's consultant, Lycopodium Engineering, has updated a feasibility study of the project, and its report indicates that capital costs have risen by 18 percent to 96.6 million US dollars.
