New minerals strategy for Ontario

ONTARIO'S Minister of Northern Development and Mines, Rick Bartolucci, unveiled a new mineral-development strategy for the province at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada's conference in Toronto this week. Mr Bartolucci stressed Ontario's present and historical mining pedigree, and pledged to work to maintain the province's mineral production, which in 2004 generated over C dollar 5 billion.
