CITGO, Mystik Engine Oils Meet Mack Specs

CITGO Petroleum Corporation announces CITGARD 600 SAE 15W-40 and Mystik JT-8 SAE 15W 40 and 15W-40 heavy duty engine oils meet the new Mack EO-N Premium Plus 03 specification-making them ideal choices for unsurpassed protection of all Mack ASET AC and M 2002/2003 EGR diesel engines. CITGO also announced the oils meet the new Caterpillar ECF- 1 and Cummins 20078 requirements. According to Mark Betner, CITGO's Heavy Duty product manager, "CITGO has worked hand-in-hand with Mack to undertake extensive testing on CITGARD 600 and Mystik JT-8. We're pleased to announce the oils to be compatible with the new specification for cooled and internal EGR Mack engines, as well as older non-EGR Mack units. This is important news for all fleets that use Mack units, as these engine oils are specifically engineered to optimize engine life, extend drain intervals and reduce overall operating costs."
