SKM AND MINMETAL TO MERGE

AUSTRALIAN-BASED engineering group Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has merged with Chilean engineering firm Minmetal to strengthen its presence in the South America market. "By using the project experience and process skills of Minmetal, the Santiago office of SKM Minmetal will be able to strengthen SKM's ability to service the copper and base-metals industry on a global basis," SKM said.
