Appeals

In April Earsham Gravels Ltd and A J Goff Ltd lodged an appeal against non-determination by Norfolk CC of proposals for extraction of sand and gravel at Mundham. Consideration had been deferred in March (see Mineral Planning 91 p.47) to discuss highway matters further. Norfolk CC in May considered there should be an objection on the grounds that the extra traffic generated by the proposal would be detrimental to the free flow of traffic and to highway safety as the application does not include the necessary highway works to allow the free flow of traffic.
