Oxus offers new Jerooy terms

Oxus currently holds a 67 percent interest in the project, according to MrTrew, who was speaking in London this week at a presentation to investors. However the Kyrgyz Government, after ordering a licence review at Jerooy earlier this year (Mi, January 6, p10), stated late last month that the project is to be developed by a new joint venture between the state-owned gold-mining company Kyrgyzaltyn JSC and Global Gold, an Austrian-based investment fund managed by Strategic Investment Group (SIG).
