Re-introduced handheld laser range finder ideal for rugged applications and general range finding purposes

Riegl USA of Orlando, FL, has re-introduced an improved compact, lightweight and high performance handheld laser rangefinder, with improved signal processing capability, added range and rugged construction for repeatable use in harsh environments.Based on time-of-flight measurement techniques, the LASER-TAPE FG21 has a range up to 2500 m with out using a reflector with a 1 m resolution. With the touch of a button a single user can look through the 6 X 30 sighting optics and have the rangefinder calculate the distance to an object through use of an eye safe laser light.
