Dragon frustrated at Svartliden

Dragon Mining NL, dual-listed on the Stockholm and Australian Stock Exchanges, is experiencing difficulties in obtaining the requisite permits for the development of its Svartliden gold project in Sweden. The Environmental Court has advised the company that a site inspection will not be made prior to final submissions by regulatory authorities. Given the time allowed by the court for these proceedings, it is unlikely that the inspection will be made before the onset of snow cover in the northern winter. Since the court has also indicated that site inspections must be made during snow-free periods, the implications are that the inspections will not now be made until about April next year.
