Sutton's Tanzanian property holds more gold

Sutton Resources began a new phase of diamond drilling on its Bulyanhulu gold deposit in Tanzania. This drilling will continue to explore the Reef 1 gold system. This system contains 100 t (3.22 million oz) of the 108.5 t (3.49 mil-lion oz) identified so far on the property. Sutton said the gold resource, calculated in November 1995, is 7.2 Mt (7.9 million st) grad-ing 15.2 g/t (0.44 oz/st). Drilling will also examine other gold reefs that have seen limited work but display good gold potential, the company said. Sutton believes the property could contain more than 155.5 t (5 million oz) of gold.
