The National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum (NMHFM) held its 16th annual Hall of Fame induction banquet on Sept. 13, 2003 in Leadville, CO. the museum's convention center hosted 240 guests, some in Victorian attire. Festivities began at the museum center with a cocktail reception and open house. During the open house, guests were free to visit the museum where Lake County high-school students served as docents. Leadville Municipal Judge Neil Reynolds entertained at the piano during the reception. He is a fifth-generation member of a pioneer Leadville mining family.
