U.S. Silver acquires Coeur d'Alene's Silver Valley assets

U.S. Silver reported that it acquired all of Coeur d'Alene Mines' assets in Idaho's Silver Valley in a 15-million dollars cash deal. The acquisition includes the Galena Mine and its associated 1 kt/d (1,100 stpd) mill. Also included was the Coeur Mine, now on care and maintenance, and the 450-t/d (500-stpd) mill. And U.S. Silver acquired the Coeur d'Alene Mine property and the Calladay project. In all, the deal included nearly 4,450 hm~2 (11,000 acres) of patented and un-patented claims in the Silver Valley.
