Hasegawa released a very fine kit of the TA-4J last year and following on from other members of this family, offered modellers the opportunity to build a very fine replica 'straight from the box'. This feature will test that theory to a point, as we'll be adding some smaller details to improve on the excellence supplied by Hasegawa. Let's get started shall we? As usual the build of this kit started with the interior - just as the Editor did several months ago during his OA-4M conversion feature. There was no need to replace the cockpit tub as the one provided is really nice, I just decided to improve the look with a pair of resin Escapac 1G2 seats from Aires (ref 4442). These are designed for the A-7, but that was the best choice on the market as they look really nice and with just a bit of paint they are perfect.
