Sometimes, when you want to get a decent bare metal finish on a model, it's a good idea to use actual bare metal as a finish. Sounds obvious, doesn't it? However, if you feel the need to give it a go, here's what you'll need to do! As you can imagine, you'll need some specialist items with which to foil your next aircraft model - Photo 1. The list is as follows: (1) Kitchen foil, the cheaper and thinner the better; (2) Metal Foil Adhesive (I use Microscale for preference); (3) Cotton buds - lots of them! (4) SHARP scalpel; (5) Alcohol for removing excess adhesive; (6) Wooden toothpicks and kitchen towel; (7) Endless patience (not available in the shops).
