Hudson Institute Gets Kids Interested in Minerals

Donating mineral specimens to science teachers was one of the primary ways the Hudson Institute of Mineralogy attempted to engage the general public in the appreciation and understanding of the mineral kingdom, one of the main objectives of the not-for-profit foundation. Samples donated by collectors and dealers to the Institute were housed and distributed at no charge to schools and museums since the Institute's inception in 2004.
