Production complete; maintenance, modernization and retrofit of existing tanks remains center of gravity for Abrams program. In 2012, U.S. spending on the maintenance, RESET, and upgrade of existing Abrams tanks rebounded to 28.9 percent of international market spending on new-production tanks - effectively erasing the massive losses of the 2010-2011 period, when the Abrams program lost nearly 82 percent of its market share.
