Having looked at various SRS systems, this article provides guidance on fault diagnosis and repair. At all times remember you are working with explosives and should a device detonate accidentally the potential for injury is high. 1. Always disarm the system before carrying out any work. 2. Avoid touching electrical terminals. 3. Use a static grounding strap when handling the module 4. Never use an Ohmmeter to test the resistance in the squib igniter. 5. Never place an un-deployed airbag module with the trim face down.
