It may be boom time again for the UK motor industry but this is presenting its own set of challenges when it comes to finding and, more importantly, retaining good people within the sector, according to recruitment specialist. There's no doubt that the meteoric resurgence of the UK motor industry is a good news story for the UK economy and its success will no doubt play a crucial part in the emergence of UK PLCs from a double-dip recession. Honda grabbed the headlines with news of its second shift in Swindon. Jaguar Land Rover also got plenty of column inches after announcing an extra third shift at its Halewood factory. And Prime Minister David Cameron got in on the act when Nissan fanfared its deal to build a new hatchback in Sunderland. And so on.
