Registrations for the first six months of this year show that truck business is still weak, while for vans, the situation is improving. In total, commercial vehicle registrations rose by 10.7 per cent to 122,336 for the January to June period, compared with the same period last year, Light CV registrations, below 3,500kg gross vehicle weight (GVW), were up 15.8 per cent to 107,270, and for trucks, down 16.0 per cent.
