TRAINING: Service training for PCV and HGV drivers

Until recently you could have passed your HGV test, worked as a driver until you retired and not spent a day being given further training in that time. In the meantime, vehicles and their driving characteristics would have changed completely. So introducing in-service framing for PCV and HGV drivers was perhaps overdue when the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence was introduced a few years ago.
