The authors consider the possible use of Internet in activity of mining plants. So-called e-business is a necessity and a challenge in stormy and competitive surroundings. In particular, there are tremendous chances in "business to business" segment as well as in management systems of customer's relations (CRM). Mining plants should evaluate and state their potentiality and advantages to be obtained by using Internet.
