Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a serious threat to global health, intensified by the need to produce food on an industrial scale. It is a consequence of the overuse of antibiotics, mainly in animal food production. Hygienic measures across the feed production chain contribute significantly to reducing these and hygiene innovations are key to reducing antibiotics in feed.
