There are a few salient points worth noting about Kimberley Diamond Company NL. Firstly, the West Australian-based company is achieving ta higherprice/carat for the stones it is sourcing from its Ellendale project (located in WA's west Kimberley) than any other diamond operation from around the world. Secondly, it has identified 100 known pipes-- all of which have proved diamondiferous to one extent or the other -- but has so far only concentrated on two of them (pipes 4 and 9). Thirdly, KDC has the single largest granted mining lease (124 square kilometres) in WA, Fourthly, the miner will be the fourth biggest diamond producer in the world once it completes its current expansion plan.
