Devon Energy, Crosstex Energy To Create New Energy Business

Devon Energy Corp. (Oklahoma City) and Crosstex Energy Inc. (Dallas) have signed a definitive agreement to combine substantially all of Devon's U.S. midstream assets with Crosstex's assets to form a new midstream business that will include two publicly traded entities, a master limited partnership and a general partner entity. A new name for the company will be released prior to the closing of the transaction.
