PGM focus for new float

Australia has a new dedicated platinum group metals exploration company in the form of Platina Resources Ltd, which has spun-off from perennial explorer Helix Resources Ltd. Platina has been solely formed to take over Helix's PGM projects while the seasoned explorer focuses on its gold, diamond and other projects. The transition from Helix to Platina began in May 2006 following an agreement between the two regarding the acquisition of the latter's interest in various mining tenements (as well as the issue of 9,999 Platina ordinary shares to Helix).
