After announcing the establishment of a 1 million ounce gold equivalent maiden resource at its Rover 1 play in the central Northern Territory earlier this year, active junior Westgold Resources Ltd was able to tell the market it was getting back into the field after a prolonged wet season. Company director Andrew Beckwith said this work would form part of an extensive drilling campaign planned for the ensuing year aimed at both increasing and upgrading the resource inventory at Rover 1 and the discovery of additional high grade gold-copper systems elsewhere within the explorer's highly prospective Rover project, which is located 100 kilometres south west of Tennant Creek.
