During mid November a Queensland-based junior successfully completed the equity raising for a Central Asian gold project which looks set to become one of the world's lowest cost producers of the precious metal.After mandating Macquarie Bank to provide US$50 million debt financing for its US$96 million Andash gold-copper project in the Kyrgyz Republic, Kentor Gold Ltd closed a $13.4 million placement (involving about 86.5 million new shares at 15.5 cents/share) that was significantly oversubscribed.
