With production marching on steadily from its historic Broken Hill mine in New South Wales - and potential extension work underway at the Broken Hill Potosi and Broken Hill North Mine Deeps projects - Perilya Ltd is making good on its promise to push the project's life to 10 years or more. The Western Australian-based resources house has been acknowledged for its achievement in increasing production at the historic operation since acquiring it in 2002, shifting its focus two years ago to lower cost operations at the southern part of the mine.
