When Alchemy Resources Ltd boss Michael Hannington was retrenched from North back in mid 1999, he had no idea how it would significantly affect his career path. Nor did he foresee that, some 10 years later, the incident would ultimately lead him back to his original quest - the search for gold - albeit it in a more personal and perhaps profound way.
