New rules brought in for AIM players

During early April the UK-based Financial Services Authority (FSA) introduced measures to restructure the listing categories available to companies officially trading on the Alternative Investment Market. Essentially, the development involved the re-branding of the current primary and secondary segments as premium and standard listings respectively. These were not wholesale changes by any means - broadly, the premium and standard listings were put in place to replicate the primary and secondary categories that they are replacing.
