DURING EARLY MARCH the junior signed a farm-in agreement with private Canadian process technology company Nichromet Extractions Incorporated to acquire interests in three projects in Guatemala and one in Cuba, as well as the right to use Nichromet's oxide process technology to treat these projects' ore. Due diligence to confirm technical and tenure information, and to obtain Cuban Government approval for the farm-in, was completed at the beginning of April, with the companies proceeding to negotiate a joint venture agreement. Once this has been finalised, exploration should begin at the projects immediately.
