DIVERSIFIED JUNIOR SILVER Swan Group Ltd is confidently advancing its Western Australian minerals portfolio after completing an 8 million dollars capital raising. Since starting field activities fewer than 18 months ago, Silver Swan had seen its market capitalisation increase five-fold despite the global economic downturn. The latest stage of field activities - which commenced during early September -comprises drilling and geophysics across the company's Meekatharra tenements in WA. This is expected to be completed in early 2010. Silver Swan managing director Dr Susan Vearncombe said the capital raising had ensured the resources house was adequately funded to pursue an extensive exploration program.
