NEW ZEALAND'S BIGGEST gold mine is now even larger following the commissioning of the Frasers Underground operation at OceanaGold Corp's Macraes project earlier this year. The company successfully commissioned the 900,000 tonne per annum undertaking in mid January on schedule and for a capital cost net of gold revenue of 33.4 million NZ dollars - including 7.7 million NZ dollars for additional development to de-risk the first year of production.
