THE OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE in 2007/08 of nickel producer Panoramic Resources Ltd (which recently changed its name from Sally Malay Mining Ltd) has not gone unnoticed, with the company attracting a flurry of "buy" recommendations from brokers around the country. With around 70 million dollars in the bank and increasing production from both its Savannah (also formerly called Sally Malay) and Lanfranchi nickel mines in Western Australia, the Perth-based outfit is now on the acquisition trail.
