Extension drilling now a key for miner

PERILYA LTD HAS forecast a minimum six year mine life for its rejuvenated lead zinc mine at Broken Hill - and expects new drilling to extend that significantly. Speaking at a recent South Australian conference, Perilya chief executive Len Jubber said the company was targeting at least a 10year mine life. This would be based around further development of the mine's three main ore bodies - Potosi, the North Mine and the Southern Operations.
