Platinum Australia moves to owner-operator at Smokey Hills

A transition from contractor to owner operator is taking place at the Smokey Hills platinum mine in South Africa's Bushveld by Platinum Australia Ltd (ASX:PLA). Managing director John Lewins said the transition process was being completed with the full co-operation of mining contractor JIC Mining Services (Pty) Ltd and was scheduled to be completed by the end of February.
