AusIMM irked by ASX's new standards proposal

The conservative mining body The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) is clearly not happy with the planned introduction of new reporting standards by the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). AusIMM president Alice Clark said the preferred options of the ASX could have "unintended consquences that leave investors with less rather than more information on which to base investment decisions".
