Junior expands its polymetallic targets

Months of overland and helicopter-based exploration have paid off for Platina Resources Ltd, with further mineralisation discovered in the vicinity of its Skaergaard project in eastern Greenland. Lured by the success of the Skaergaard intersection, Platina invested in a surveying and sampling program which revealed base and precious metal sniffs at Kangerlussuaq some 35 kilometres away. With grades of up to 2.5 grams/tonne gold, l,583g/t silver, 7.7 percent copper, 4.3 percent molybdenum, 10.1 percent lead and 12.2 percent zinc, the company now aims to scope out the mineralised dimensions with further reconnaissance work at the site this field season.
