Long-term alliance sought with local partner

Brisbane-based commercial software and services company Mincom Ltd is translating and localizing its flagship enterprise asset management product Mincom Ellipse for the Chinese market. The fourth oldest enterprise resource planning company in the world, Mincom has also formed a partnership with China's largest listed software and solutions providers, Shenyang-based Neusoft Group. Together, the companies plan to open a joint research and development centre in Nanjing City, JiangSu Province, as a platform for a long-term alliance. Speaking with the Gold & Minerals Gazette from China, president of Mincom's Eurasian operations Allen Vaughn said the linguistic aspects of the process had been completed, with assistance from local staff ensuring the best translation.
