Part of a campaign designed to attract people to the minerals industry and launched by the West Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy has come under a bit of flak. During IIR's recent underground mining conference in WA, the chamber's Andrew Reay played the Your Future - Your Choice DVD, a promotional program aimed, amongst other things, at improving the mineral sector's image. The show, Reay indicated, was primarily targeting students attending high school. "The chamber's aim is to get the students when they are making their decisions," he explained.
