In establishing strategic alliances with three reputable mining houses, West Australian-based explorer Breakaway Resources Ltd has effectively expedited its plans to establish an early cash flow. In early November the ASX-listed company, which was formed in March 2003, announced the initial results from its current diamond drilling program at Spargoville in the western Kambalda district of WA. Off-take agreements for any future production from the project have been made with the junior's .new major shareholder LionOre Australia Pty Ltd, which itself strengthened its position in the region earlier this year with the purchase of the Bulong high pressure acid leach nickel plant.
