A few tricks left in diamond operation

WHILE NORTH AUSTRALIAN Diamonds Ltd does not yet technically regard itself as a miner, the Perth-based junior has been producing diamonds at the Merlin mine in the Northern Territory. The company is in the process of resuscitating the former Rio Tinto Ltd project back up on its feet. NAD acquired Merlin, located 100 kilometres south of the Borroloola settlement, in late 2004 after the resources giant closed the mine during the previous year.
