Groundrush gives more bite to Tanami Gold

The Groundrush gold project in the Northern Territory sector of the Tanami Desert, which has been a successful exploration venture for Tanami Gold NL (ASXrTAM), has provided another significant resource upgrade.The company said the mineral resource at Groundrush - a former open cut mine for Newmont Mining Corporation - has increased 39% to 743,000 ounces.This takes in a measured-indicated resource of 278,000 oz.Exploration and infill drilling is ongoing and deputy chairman Denis Waddell said recent successful step-out drill holes had not been included in the upgraded resource.
