MEG sees positives for North American companies if metal prices hold

The leading global research group Metals Economics Group (MEG) said the North American market had one of its slowest runs, not helped by a decline in the industry's market capitalisation - slipping in the last two months of the year to finish at 1.74 billion US dollars. This, the Nova Scotia-based research house said, was the lowest since July, 2010.
