Mill efforts to raise prices for September delivery and beyond have proven largely successful overthe past month though the full ?50/tonne hike in the eurozone (if not the ?50/tonne announced for the UK from October onwards), has been met with some resistance, particularly in recent weeks. For commodity grade/size products such as cold-rolled (CR) 304 2mm/2B sheet, the range of hikes month-on-month starts from just ?20/tonne; particularly on the higher end of last month's (August) deliveries.
