With 10 million dollars in the bank junior nickel explorer Nickel Australia Ltd is showing no signs of slowing down as it continues to cast its net in Australia and overseas for new opportunities. One of its major shareholders is Croesus Mining NL, which owns 18 percent after it vended its nickel assets into the junior. Mark Creasy's Yandal Investments also holds 6.2 percent. Headed by Tony Rovira -- the man who helped discover Jubilee Mines NL's Cosmos nickel deposit and, later, found Cosmos Deeps -- Nickel Australia is continuing to evaluate its projects at Norseman, Davyhurst and Bette and has completed five deals on other holdings. This includes one with Montague at Bounty. In addition, the junior has moved to 100 percent ownership of Splinter, has two joint ventures with Hannans Reward NL at Maggie Hays South and Queen Victoria Rocks and also has a JV with Cullen Resources Ltd at Killaloe.
